PATCHNOTES:
Accidently disabled cloud saving on shared save. Attempted share upload will now properly result in cloudsaving instead

The Custom Samples & Patches Loader (in short CSPL) will load all your custom samples and helm patches into all the game instruments which use them.

How to install:
move all the contents from the archive into your Virtuoso root directory

How to add custom patches:

  • copy your .helm files into the import/patches folder (IMPORTANT: must be in helm format!)

How to add custom samples:

  • copy your .wav sample files into the import/samples/GROUPNAME folder (GROUPNAME being the group name you want the sample to show in, for example Snares)

How to use:

  • just start the game
  • empads: depending on which folder you dropped the sample in, it will show up on that empad group alongside the original ones
  • other instruments: in the menu at the bottom left you will find your custom patches alongside the original ones
  • enjoy

IMPORTANT DISCLAMER!
This mod will prevent you from uploading your sessions to the community. if you try it anyways it will upload them to your cloud storage instead. Out of respect to the developers I added this until a proper solution is found. Normal saves and cloud upload work fine tho!

If you want to disable the mod just rename the winhttp.dll file to _winhttp.dll then the modloader won't startup when starting the game and vice versa.

  • Fixed custom helm patch injection by replacing SynthDataController with SynthController and post-hooking into the SynthsDataLoaded function

  • Added try catch blocks for each import on both patches and samples to prevent the mod from crashing the game. this should add some stability
  • Import all files in samples which are in the root directoy of sample or in unrecognized subdirectories (groups) into Effects group as default
