This spec is dependent on alignment with this IETF document: Indicating and Negotiating Profiles in HTTP. L. Svensson; R. Verborgh. 2019-07-11. IETF Internet Draft. URL: https://profilenegotiation.github.io/I-D-Profile-Negotiation/I-D-Profile-Negotiation
There was sent out a request for comments on the 2PWD. Following that, we had responses on the comments list and outside Github comments from at least Kam Hay Fung, Erik Wilde, Herbert van der Sompel, Andreas Kuckartz and Gregg Kellogg, the last one being resolved on the mailing list. Following a request from Nick, we also had feedback from CKAN developers.
Further, announcements about the 2PWD were sent to:
- Biblioteca del Congreso Nacional de Chile (Álvaro Sandroval, Christian Sifaqui)
- Deutsche Nationalbibliothek (Panagiotis Kitmeridis)
- InfAI, University of Leipzig (Markus Freudenberg, Sebastian Hellmann)
- KB Netherlands (Enno Meijers)
Github is being used for issue tracking (even if original issue came via email). Of non-editorial issues, 19 open, 78 closed

[TODO: any preliminary implementation information? exit criteria? minimum CR duration?]
By the end of CR we will have provided a new recommendation, supported by ongoing work with IETF, describing content negotiation by profile, and at least 2 independent implementations of one approach to this.
