Nothing serious, of course, but Query Monitor is now reporting another newly-deprecated function. Thanks for fixing the previous one in the latest version of s2Member!

Function: like_escape()
Used in wp-content/plugins/s2member/includes/classes/utils-logs.inc.php on line 190.

Use wpdb::esc_like() instead.
Deprecated in version 4.0.

Next release changelog:

  • (s2Member/s2Member Pro) WP v4 Compat. This release brings s2Member up-to-date with the latest changes to the like_escape() function in WP v4.0. The like_escape() function is now deprecated in favor of wpdb::esc_like(). s2Member has been updated in this release, but also remains compatible with previous versions of WordPress. See this GitHub issue if you'd like further details.

@jaswsinc,

Thanks very much for the invitation -- I'm flattered!

I've given it some thought, and I like the idea of joining your team, but I just can't see how I can guarantee to commit 15 hours per week (maybe 10, but not 15). And I'd certainly never be able to go full-time. So I think I'm going to have to decline.

Thanks again!
