Demo site not working #37
Comments
Hi there, Thanks, Jobe Roberts |
@Joberrr I can take a look into it. To what extend was it developed (i mean, was there an admin panel developed) ? |
The WET 4 WordPress theme was working fine with WP version 3.5 |
I setup http://wet-boew-wordpress.azurewebsites.net/ awhile ago but never got an autodeploy working since I couldn't get a good example of project structure to support CI. |
@MBlondin I added you to the site if you want to play around a bit. It looks like updating to Wordpress 4.2.1 broke the qTranslate plug-in which seems abandoned now. |
Thank you. I will Install another instance on my home computer and troubleshoot first Sent from my Windows Phone From: Jobe Robertsmailto:notifications@github.com The WET 4 WordPress theme was working fine with WP version 3.5 — |

I'll take your word for it with the plug-in because I know nothing about WordPress 😉 I've sent the login stuff separately |
Thx Nick, i will take a look later in the week. Been working with WP for a while now So my Next step was to learn how to build themes. Sent from my Windows Phone From: Nick Schonningmailto:notifications@github.com I'll take your word for it with the plug-in because I know nothing about WordPress [] I've sent the login stuff separately — |
If you want to try to setup this http://wplift.com/deploy-wordpress-theme-from-github-to-microsoft-azure let me know because I'll need to setup the hooks on my side. |
qTranslate X will hopefully be a good replacement. The original qTranslate plug-in developer was notoriously late on updates. However, the WET theme needs this plug-in to work. |
I installed it and looks like it resolved one issue. On to the Next ones. @Joberrr @nschonni Guy's I played with it a bit and uploaded my very first take (Uber early draft) at http://wet-boew-wordpress.azurewebsites.net/?lang=fr Check it out. Uses qtranslate-X and WET 4.0.13 with GCWU Theme. |
@MBlondin where I can found your work? Thanks |
@nschonni can you send me the login info for http://wet-boew-wordpress.azurewebsites.net/? |
@duboisp Sorry, I was on vacation last 2 weeks. @nschonni If you can send it to me as well as I lost it when my computer needed to be re-installed, use the email mathieu.blondin@canada.ca |
@MBlondin no problem, I was in vacation too. I am still interested by your work your did on the wordpress variant. I have a need to update this variant and make it more functional for non-GOC organization. I already started to re-write this theme. @Joberrr and @MBlondin do you have any issue if I took over on the administration of this project, the wordpress variant? If needed we can team up. I just want to know before I start to send PRs and merge them. |
