Contributing to the Geolocation for nftables Project

    The issue tracker should be used to report bugs. Patches can be submitted as a GitHub pull request. If you're a package maintainer, please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

If you need help with installation or setup, please ask questions on the Discussions Page instead of using the issue tracker.

You can help us by spreading the good word about Geolocation for nftables online.

Creating an issue

Please supply the following information when reporting an issue:

  • A clear explanation of the problem.
  • Any pertinent details to help us reproduce the issue.
  • The installed versions of your operating system, nftables, and Geolocation for nftables.
  • Any relevant error messages from the /var/log/geo-nft-error.log file, command prompt, or system log.
  • Issues are best formatted with GitHub Flavored Markdown.

Creating a pull request

  • The GitHub documentation has good information on creating a pull request.
  • Please allow time for your pull request to be reviewed as resources are limited.
