How-to for Contributing to microcks.io documentation refactoring process πŸ™Œ

To contribute to microcks.io refactor-doc-org branch, please follow these steps:

  1. Check Latest Reporting: Review the latest reporting and open issues related to your contribution. Example: Issue #100.

  2. Create an Issue: If you would like to contribute, create an issue on the file or error you wish to address. Example: Issue #102. Create a documenation enhancement issue

  3. Clone the Repository: Clone the microcks.io repository to your local machine:

    mkdir my-contrib-to-doc
    cd my-contrib-to-doc
    git clone https://github.com/microcks/microcks.io.git

  4. Switch Branch: Switch to the branch where you want to make your contribution. Example: refactor-doc-org

  5. Create a New Branch: Create a new branch for your contribution.

    git checkout -b my-contrib-to-doc-issue101
  6. Make Modifications: Make your contributions and modifications to the files using your favorite IDE. For example:

    diff .lycheeignore ../../microcks.io/.lycheeignore

  8. Push Changes: Push your commit to the remote repository.
