Writing to a real location at C:\snapshot

I'd like to mkdir and write files outside the snapshot and on the disk at C:\snapshot but mkdir errors with:

Error: Cannot mkdir in a snapshot. Try mountpoints instead.

Snapshot is readonly. Inside packaged applications (when process.pkg is defined) you should use process.cwd()` instead.

Hi, yes, I understand that the snapshot is read-only. But I'm talking about an existing folder on the C: drive called "snapshot". Not the virtual one that contains the packaged files.

process.cwd() in case of pkg returns the path of the exe, but is there a way to write into the real C:\snapshot?

I don't think you can as that is a really special folder for pkg and there is no way to customize that
