First proper release of the new firmware for TIB DD-001 cartridge (original or clone)

• load and save PRG files and exchange them with PC just like on SD card via SD2IEC
• DOS wedge ('@' commands)
• function keys
• bug fixes and optimizations
• load and run BOOT.PRG upon reset
• FAT12 disk format with correct boot sector information for DOS and Linux on PC
• device number changed to 7 (configurable in source code)
• source code cleaned up

Preview

New features:

• correct format (incl. random volume serial number and name)
• size optimizations in ROM and tools
• CBM DOS style directory listing

First preview

Updated firmware:

• FDD as device 7
• LOAD and SAVE standard PRG files (with load address in the first two bytes)
• removed a lot of dead code
• correct bug in CHKOUT so that commands can be sent via PRINT#15 also to disk drives
• load BOOT.PRG instead of BOOT.EXE on startup
• five example utilities patched to use ROM jump table rather than direct addresses - utilities will be binary-compatible with future firmware update

Known bugs

• RUN/STOP on startup screen will take you to BASIC, but without hooks for device 7; to make device 7 work you need to insert a 720k floppy that doesn't contain BOOT.PRG file

Not a bug:

• This is not compatible with original DD-001 disk format and tools
