Topbar

The topbar allows you to select a Multi-Tool, set it to the one currently used, and delete it.

Directly beneath the selection you can see whether the selected Multi-Tool is the one currently in use.

Multi-Tool Collection

Manage your Multi-Tools. With this feature you can overcome the limit of Multi-Tools that you can have in the game.

To learn more about Collections visit the respective page.

Customization

Change different attributes of your Multi-Tool to customize it. You can change the name, class, type, and more.

With enabled Advanced Mode you can edit the resource file used for a Multi-Tool.

As the four types Pistol, Rifle, Experimental, and Alien all share the same resource file, the preselected type is calculated based on the stat ranges used in game. If the ranges are changed or the value is outside the range the result may be wrong, but you can change it any time. Having selected the correct type is necessary to show the correct stat ranges below.

The seed controls how the selected Multi-Tool actually looks like. You can enter any hexadecimal number with up to 16 digits. You will also find some buttons next to it, to change the seed to a random number (and set it as name if you like).

The third opens the Customizer web app by Mjstral (Meta-Idea) and pre-selects the configuration of the current Multi-Tool. To create a seed for the Multi-Tool you customized, you need to use the Creative and Sharing Hub on Discord and then manually enter the seed in NomNom.

Base Stats

Base stats control the performance of your weapon. There are 3 stats available. In general these values have not really a limit but setting it to an extremely high number will reset them to 0 when saved in-game.

Next to the actual stat values you can see the min (left) and max (right) values intended by the game for the selected type and class. If Vanilla mode is used the stat values are limited to these shown ranges and the ranges can be modified in Modding Mode.

Installed Technology Overview

This gives you a read-only overview which gameplay relevant technology is installed. The Advanced Mining Laser is only selected if the Mining Beam itself is installed too.

This list also depends on the used game version.
