Controller support in BlockLauncher unlocks Minecraft PE's controller support for non Fire TV devices. This option requires the BlockLauncher Extras purchase.
- Pair your controller to Android. Follow the pairing instruction for the controller of your choice.
- Tap the Wrench icon in BlockLauncher
- Tap "Launcher Options"
- Tap the "Use controller" switch
The mapping is the same as the Fire TV's controller mapping:
Button | Usage |
---|---|
A | Jump / Enter |
B | Back |
Y | Inventory |
Left trigger | Place / Interact |
Right trigger | Break / Attack |
Left shoulder | Move hotbar slot left |
Right shoulder | Move hotbar slot right |
DPad Left | Chat |
DPad Up | Go up when flying in creative |
DPad Down | Go down when flying in creative |
Please edit this section if you have a different controller that works with BlockLauncher.
- Cordless RumblePad 2 (Tested with Nexus 7 (2012))
- Wired Xbox 360 controller (Tested with Nexus 7 (2012): thanks, @androidperson98)
If you're using BlockLauncher with one of these controllers, please edit this section with whether they work or not.
- DualShock controllers would probably work, but it's untested.
Please edit this section if a controller doesn't work with BlockLauncher.
- Wiimote/Nunchuck definitely won't work on Android 4.2 or above because of a Bluetooth stack limitation
