npm run dev
npx astro build
This project builds into a static site and is deployed to an Amazon S3 bucket automatically through GitHub Actions. The site is then served via CloudFront to allow https
connections.
This infrastructure is defined in the infra
folder and is managed with Terraform. As these files are changed, a separate GitHub Action will run Terraform to update the infrastructure.

Astro looks for .astro
or .md
files in the src/pages/
directory. Each page is exposed as a route based on its file name.
There's nothing special about src/components/
, but that's where we like to put any Astro/React components.
Any static assets, like images, can be placed in the public/
directory, though placing images in src/assets/
allows the Astro Image
component to optimize them.
In order to add a new post, simply create a new markdown file in src/content/blog/
.
