Testing: Editing Applinks

Managing applinks

  • Navigate to a place with lots of applinks and switch to editing.
  • The links bar should show icons for the first five links.
  • Tap the links bar and the links editor opens showing items for all the links.
  • Link items should show the type, name, web address and/or app id.

Ordering

  • Click the checkbox for an item and use the arrows to move the item to the top of the list.
  • Accept and return to place editing. The link bar should show the moved item ordered first.

Delete

  • Return to the links editor, check an item and use the delete command [trashcan].
  • You should see a dialog confirming the delete operation with the option to ok or cancel.
  • Select [ok] and the item should be removed from the list.

Search

  • Use the search command. You should see a progress message that we are searching.
  • When searching is finished, you should see the link you deleted previously has returned.

Add new link

  • Use the [+] button to add a link. The link editor should open.
  • Select type = website, label = modern, web address = massenamodern.com
  • [Accept]. You should see a message that the link is being verified.
  • When finished, you should be returned to the links editor showing two additional links at the end of the list. One to the website and a second one to twitter.

Edit an applink

  • Tap the body of a link and the link editor should open.
  • Change the label for the link and accept.
  • The link item in the list should be updated to show the new label.

Refresh links

  • Use the refresh command and you should see a progress message that we are refreshing.
  • The photos for links should be updated to reflect any changes. Labels should be unchanged.
