Testing: Place Features

Place owned by the system or you

General

  • Open the place and confirm that the edit menu item is available.

Tuning

  • Navigate to a place and click [tune].
  • Click [i'm not here]. Buttons should switch to [undo] and [thanks!].
  • Click [undo]. Buttons should switch to [i'm here] and [i'm not here].
  • Click [i'm here]. Buttons should switch to [thanks] and [undo].
  • Accept.

Like and Watch

  • Click [like] and [watch]. The icon should toggle and the count in the banner should update.

Add Picture

  • Use [+] open content picker and select 'add picture'. The picture editor should open. [cancel]
  • Click on the pictures link and the pictures collection should open. Click on center button or [+] and the picture editor should open.
  • Select a photo and add a name, [accept].
  • You should return to the picture collection and the new picture should appear.
  • Tap on the picture to open it.
  • The picture should show the place it was added for. Tapping on the place should navigate to it.
  • Tap the picture and the photo viewer should open.
  • If the picture is part of a collection with multiple pictures, swipe left or right to flip through the photos in the collection. Tap or pinch to zoom in or out on the photo.

Add Comment

  • Use [+] open content picker and select 'add comment'. The comment editor should open. [cancel]
  • Click on the comments link and the comments list should open. Click on center button or [+] and the comment editor should open.
  • Enter a comment, [accept].
  • You should return to the comments list and the new comment should appear.
  • Tap on the comment to open it.
  • The comment should show the place it was added for.

Creator and Last Editor

  • Navigate to a custom place.
  • At the bottom you should see user blocks for the creator and also the last editor (if one).
  • Clicking on the block should take you to the users profile.
  • Navigate to an upsized place not owned by a user.
  • If the place has never been edited, there should be no user blocks. If the place has been edited, there should be an editor block only.

Place owned by a user (not you) All features should be available with the following exceptions:

  • Open the place and confirm that the edit menu item is not available.
  • Use [tune] and confirm that proximity tuning is enabled but banner and advance editing are not.
