emulationstation 4k on windows slow #705
Comments
Sorry, I use Ubuntu Gnome 17.04. I really like ES (I don't mind using ES instead Retroarch) but it seems very abandoned. There are 335 open issues and 38 pull requests waiting to be merged and the last modification I've seen is 3 years old. It's written in C++ (excellent language, but not everybody can help), I would help but I only know HTML/CSS/JavaScript/other toys, and I haven't tried Emscripten. |
The project is abandoned |
It's a good project. Maybe it doesn't have its own "cores" like Retroarch, but it's a very good Frontend for any already installed emulator. I love and prefer its scraping method over Retroarch's. I'd fork it and port it to Javascript, Frontend and Backend (JS is getting more popular every second and more people can contribute faster). |
@Aloshi Himself has stated that this repo is abandoned. The last commit was more than 2 years ago. |
You should see the fork of retropie which is active. Last commits 2 days ago. |
