This squashes and resolves issues related to #624 (which will be closed in favour of this one).
This also includes a lot of updates to the UI and functionality, it is what will be deployed to the integrated wallet.
Changes in this PR will be difficult to review as they consist of a lot of auto-generated files as a result of ejecting the CRA module (we need a heavily customised build process for our application).
The easiest way is to just note that there are minimal changes to the code outside of the
walletdirectory.
