Perks are special cards that grant certain bonuses or make something happen under certain conditions.
You can place up to 4 perk cards inside very unit dwelling, affecting the unit during combat if materialized or even protecting the specific dwelling from looting in case of defeat. If having multiple of the same dwelling, the park cards will provide alternative options during materialization, so that you can have different flavors available.
Example of perks:
- Passive Upgrade - materialized unit has its passive ability upgraded right from the start, offering an advantage
- Down with the Sickness - unit is not affected by materialization sickness and can act at the end of the same round
You can obtain them in various ways:
- you can purchase low level ones from Ancients by using unit drops
- use crafting to potentially obtain higher level perk cards
- trading with other players using crypto or even units/drops (requires 2+ Ancients, the more, the better)
- receive them by winning matches and looting the defeated enemy players, attacking dwellings with no units
- rewards from by participating in special community events
