Reverb In VRChat

Test Results

In case these results are outdated/wrong at some point please let me know so that I can update them accordingly.

  • All tests were performed in-game on the same PC with multiple instances
  • VRChat Build 1102

Reverb is applied independent of which gameobject the camera gameobject is attached to.

Non-Spatialized Audio Source ignores settings Bypass Effects, Bypass Listener Effects and Bypass Reverb Zones on the Audio Sources (combinations with spatialization untested).

Non-Spatialized: Yes (Sounds 100% 2D !?)

Non-Spatialized Audio Source respects one or all ofBypass Effects, Bypass Listener Effects and Bypass Reverb Zones (individual options or combinations with spatialization untested)
ReverbFilter on Audio Source - - Yes - No (Audio turns 2D without falloff !?) Camera in the scene with AudioListener and AudioReverbFilter can be added on top of that.

Adding ReverbZone on top seems to have no effect.
