User Management

Login to the CRCON admin interface

Login to the CRCON admin interface at http://123.123.123.123:8010/admin the credentials should not be the default admin credentials, as they should have been changed during the installation process.

Change default admin's password

  1. Click on Users, then on admin.
  2. Change the default admin password
  • You also can disable admin's account by unchecking the "Active" status,
  • Just make sure there's another user having Superuser status and staff status activated)
  1. Click on the SAVE button

Create a New User

  1. Click on the +Add link.

  1. Fill out the Add User form
  • Don't forget to enter the user's Steam ID (see image below) : it will be used by CRCON to identify this user as an admin.

  1. Click on the SAVE link and you'll end up on the followingpage:

Note

Please note that users won't be allowed to change their password by themselves unless you check staff status.

Providing Superuser and Staff Status

  1. Click on the Users link.
  2. Scroll down to Permissions
    1. Check the Superuser status box
    2. Check the Staff status box
  3. Click Save

Change Users Password

To change the password of a user, click on its name, then on this link (see image below).
