Not sure if I'm missing something here.

But the ability to edit scales would be nice.

Had to redo a full scale because I misspelled something and didn't read the docs to find where I saved the plist.

Ah yeah this would be nice, are you just imagining an edit button next to user created scales?

Sounds good, would this be something you'd be willing to take on? Seems like it could be simple enough to add a button to the menu items or to the right of the pop up button entirely.

Edit: Almost done because it was so quick, but for some reason its having trouble opening the pre-existing scales by filename.

@VicV the pre-existing scales are not backed by a file, they are just created in memory.
