This is unlikely to build for conda-forge for at least 2 reasons:
Based on that final comment, it seemed like the poetry developers are okay with 1.2.0 not being supported on conda-forge. |
@xylar packaging cleo 1.0.0 (once it is released) might run into issues with the rapidfuzz dependency missing on some platforms on conda forge:
please let me know once this blocks anything. I should be able to release a pure Python version for the package on these platforms in case the issues are not resolved by then. |
@maxbachmann, thanks for the heads up. That does sound like a tricky situation. |
@henryiii is currently looking into a proper fix for this. However if we really need a working version before this is fixed, it is simple to release the pure Python version in the meantime. I will prepare a patch just in case we are unable to fix the build issues by then. |
As an update from my side: All of the conda forge builds of rapidfuzz are fixed, so this should not hinder the release of a new cleo version on conda forge |
Thanks @maxbachmann. I think the best option is to wait for 1.3.0, which should solve all the problems except the circular dependency (which we solved by patching out the poetry dependency in conda-forge/poetry-plugin-export-feedstock#8). |
It is very likely that the current package version for this feedstock is out of date.

Here is a list of all the pending dependency version updates for this repo. Please double check all dependencies before merging.
Dependency Analysis
Please note that this analysis is highly experimental. The aim here is to make maintenance easier by inspecting the package's dependencies. Importantly this analysis does not support optional dependencies, please double check those before making changes. If you do not want hinting of this kind ever please add
bot: inspection: false
to yourconda-forge.yml
. If you encounter issues with this feature please ping the bot teamconda-forge/bot
.Analysis by source code inspection shows a discrepancy between it and the the package's stated requirements in the meta.yaml.
