Cache Storage over Several Filesystems

This page gives an overview of tests that can be performed if archive uses several filesystems as cache storage and deletion of least recently accessed studies needs to be triggered for these filesystems.

• For each of the 3 cases discussed below, it is presumed that objects of study are stored on several filesystems. and deleter threshold has been set only for one of the filesystems.
• Objects (of least recently accessed studies) present on different filesystems shall be deleted even when deleter threshold is not present on all filesystems but only on one filesystem.

Basic Configuration

• Configure multiple Object Storage.
• For one of the Object Storage configured above, set a Deleter Threshold.
• Reference each of the object storage configured above on the DCM4CHEE Application Entity Archive Network AE Extension level (dcm4chee-arc device -> Child Objects -> DCM4CHEE -> Network AE Extension -> Archive Network AE Extension) against the field Object Storage ID.
• Set the Object Storage Count to the total number of object storages that one configured above.
• On archive device level (dcm4chee-arc device -> Device Extension -> Archive Device Extension), set the Purge Storage Polling Interval.
