Study available on Nearline Storage

Brief Description

It is presumed that study is also available on nearline storage.

Configuration

• Configure a Nearline Storage. On this nearline storage set Retrieve Cache Storage ID as the ID of one of the Object Storage (one which has Deleter Threshold configured).
• For the Object Storage (one which has Deleter Threshold configured and which is also used as Retrieve Cache Storage ID for the nearline storage), set Export Storage ID to Storage ID of the nearline storage.

Test

• Store objects of study in different associations to ensure that objects of one study are stored on different object storages. Use the storescu tool.
• Export objects to nearline storage using UI or by export rule.
• After waiting for the configured Purge Storage Polling Interval, one can see in the Wildfly server log that the study (which was distributed over several filesystems) has been deleted.
• One can also verify on individual filesystems that the objects of study have been deleted from all filesystems.
• The study still remains accessible over UI (and also has records in database).
