Drawing a connected component

Marcus Fedarko edited this page Oct 20, 2018 · 1 revision

The buttons in the "Standard Mode" and "SPQR Decomposition Mode" sections can be used to select and draw a specified weakly connected component of the graph.

Components are ordered by the number of nodes they contain: so component 1 will contain the most nodes of all components in the graph, followed by component 2, and so on. Once you've loaded a graph into MetagenomeScope's viewer interface, you can look at the assembly info dialog to see how many components are in the graph.

The two "draw" buttons draw the component in either "standard" or "decomposition" mode. Additionally, the decomposition mode has two possible variations: implicit and explicit decomposition. See the Viewer Interface Overview page for a description of what these modes mean.
