Environment

  • Python version: 2.7
  • NetBox version: 2.2-beta1

Description

In /virtualization/clusters/1/devices/add/, it would be a lot more convenient, if I could also search by hostname for nodes.

In our case, all our physical nodes follow a certain naming convention.
The current filter allows to filter for Regions, Sites and Racks, but our nodes are spread across racks so the filtering is very broad. Searching by name would be much easier.

Alternative proposal: Filter by Device Role.
