Environment

  • Python version: 3.4.3
  • NetBox version: 2.1.4

Description

The browsable version of NetBox's API (which comes built-into Django REST Framework) includes embedded forms at the bottom of each page for creating and updating objects. While these can be convenient, they are primarily for development purposes and should not be included with the production application. Further, some of these forms cause performance problems, as many extraneous database queries are made to populate form field options.
