This was originally added because we couldn't come up with an example where it would fail but not hard error, too (see https://github.com/rust-lang/rust/pull/91551/files#r762550062 ) Even if it's only reachable via const prop, it seems totally fine to not require a hard error. r? @oli-obk @bors r+ rollup |
…li-obk Do not ICE when failing to normalize in ConstProp. There is no reason to delay a bug there, as we bubble up the failure as TooGeneric. Fixes rust-lang#97728
