This removes all dependencies on pre-1.0 proc-macro ecosystem crates
(syn, quote, and proc-macro2)

☔ The latest upstream changes (presumably #74726) made this pull request unmergeable. Please resolve the merge conflicts.

This removes all dependencies on pre-1.0 proc-macro ecosystem crates
(syn, quote, and proc-macro2)
