I am aware of the decision to fade out SMS/MMS support for security reasons.
Unfortunately, I still need to (unsafely) communicate with people with "feature phones". (Think: older people that do not want to (or cannot) use a smart phone.)

Currently groups with such people are created as MMS groups. Would it be possible to create SMS groups instead? MMS are expensive for me, and I have an SMS flat rate.

This is a duplicate of #413. @jondo, I suggest you close this one (#1936) and follow/participate in the conversation of #413 instead.
