Ubuntu full node - ActivateBestChain failed

Hello guys,

I'm trying to build a full node on a ubuntu server. I got everything installed following the docs.
When I try to launch syscoind I always get the following error:

2016-08-26 17:34:07 ERROR: alias hex guid too long
2016-08-26 17:34:07 ERROR: ConnectBlock(): CheckSyscoinInputs on b1d6642007cea54c6090f538bb7cea3f05393af707ef0803a52b7718e366a9fe failed

I tried removing everything inside the ~/.syscoin/ folder, still there.
Also tried to launch the deamon with -reindex flag just in case as discussed here
