Base sliding

Base sliding feature allows you to use a dial or decloak token to adjust "base slide" after barrel roll, side decloak or a talon roll maneuver.

Base sliding is how we're gonna call the degree of freedom you have after performing moves listed above. You DON'T have to unlock and move your ship manually.

During a slide, if you slide onto an obstacle it will highlight red and if you try to slide into another ship it will just stay out.

Regular sliding:
Click the "Slide" button on your dial (click A if it's not shown yet) and slowly move your hand up and down. Your ship will slide appropriately. Clicking the button again or moving your hand too far ends the slide adjust.

Echo decloak & StarViper Mk.II roll sliding:
Since there are two degrees of freedom on these moves slides, you can click "Slide" once to slide as if moving maneuver template against the ship, THEN click "Slide" again to slide as if moving ship against the template. Combining these two slides will get you to any allowed position.

You can undo (Doc: Commands) manual slide just like any other move. Moves that support sliding will search for a free position - if there is one, it will be taken. If you are getting a notification that there's no space, whole length of the slide was obstructed.
