[Problem] Calculating forever not responding

Symptom

Maxima is forever calculating and not responding to input.

Suspected diagnosis

It is theoretically possible that wxMaxima doesn’t realize that Maxima has finished calculating, and therefore never gets informed it can send new data to Maxima.

Possible cure

If this is the case Trigger evaluation might resynchronize the two programs.
