  • Pauper format - Allow basic lands to be included in deck.

CARDS

  • Academy Rector - Fixed that the search ability was handled as targeted effect.
  • Gemstone Caverns - Fixed that it did not work with Refelecting Pool. Fixed that you always had to choose a color (also with no luck counter on it).
  • Liliana Vess - Fixed that the library was not shuffled if second ability was used.

Fixes

  • Fixed a bug of handling of tournament sub tables if a user left disconnects causing server internal handling locks.
  • Fixed a problem of match handling if a player left XMage during sideboarding.
  • Champion ability - Fixed that it did not work for non champion permanents with the according subtype.
  • Arsenal Thresher - Fixed a ClassCastException bug that happened as the player tried to show artifact cards from hand.
  • Goblin Guide - Fixed a bug that the ability did not trigger if a planeswalker was attacked.

  • Added a connection speed information to the user list.

Fixes

  • Fixed a bug that while a match or tournament was just starting a player could still leave the table (for a very short time period), setting the table / tournament / match to an undefined state. Now the player can only leave the Match / Tournament after it has started properly.
  • Fixed that the reconnect prompt after a disconnect was shown multiple times.
  • Fixed a bug that killed matches that lasted longer than an hour.
  • Ib Halfheart, Goblin Tactician - Fixed that the blocking creatures didn't get the 4 damage.
  • The AI consumes now time if you play with match timer agains it.
  • Added more server debug information to help for fixing still existing bugs.
  • Fixed deck text import to work with txt deck download from MTG Daily (recognizing now sideboard and split cards).

Release 2014-08-30

New Functions

  • Counters on cards and permanents are shown with little colored circle images and a figure with the amount of counters. If a card has multiple different kind of counters, only the first kind is schown with an image. But +1/+1, -1/-1 have their own counter image and can be shown at the same time.

FIXES

  • Fixed some put into graveyard effects that were implemented wrongly as triggered effects to replacment effects (Legacy Weapon, Progenitus, Darksteel Colossus, Blightsteel Colossus).
  • Restrict activated abilities - Fixed a bug that restriction effects that prevented permanents from using activated abilities were not applied to activated mana abilities used to pay mana costs (e.g. Linvala, Keeper of Silence).
  • Fixed a bug of exile target and search other zones function searching for wrong name (fixes #541). Concerned Eradicate, Scour, Sowing Salt and Splinter.
  • Fixed a bug that causes a player that has reconnected to a game wrongly lose the game because of timeout if the game still lasts (normally played) for the defined timeout duration (600 seconds).
  • Fix for colored mana producers starting only to produce colorless mana (new try to fix it).

CARD FIXES

  • Bile Blight - Fixed a bug that it did not work correctly.
  • Cavern of Souls - Fixed that conditional mana in the mana pool remembers correctly for which creature subtrype its usable.
  • Dark Depths - Fixed to only put token into play if it was sacrificed successfully.
  • Earthcraft - Fixed that the creature to tap was not handled as a not targeted effect.
  • General's Kabuto - Fixed wrong casting costs of {2}, corrected to {4}.
  • Illusionist's Gambit - Fixed that the effect prevented that the creatures removed from attacking could also not attack other players, block or use activated abilities.
  • Jace, Architect of Thought - fixed first ability that wrongly stopped working as soon as Jace left battlefield.
  • Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker - Fixed that the copied token will be sacrificed instead of wrongly exiled.
  • Plow Under - Fixed tooltip text.
  • Rancor - Fixed missing trample effect.
  • Spellskite - Fixed that it wrongly was possible to change a target to Spellskite if Spellsikte was already target of that same target definition.
  • Venser, the Sojourner - Fixed that its first ability did wrongly filter for creature permanents instead of only permanents.
  • Whirpool Rider -Fixed a concurent modifaction bug of his ability.

  • Fixed a bug that caused mass boost / unboost of spells to be applied to objects coming into play later (e.g. Bile Blight). Fixed alternate cost handling to be able to only user alternate MANA costs (fixes Dream Halls, Fist of Suns and Omniscience to supress wrongly also additional costs instead of only mana costs).

  • Caged Sun - Fixed that the mana adding ability did not work (introduced with last update).

  • Solitary Confinement - Fixed a but that the discard cost was not properly reset.

  • Xenagos, the Reveler - Fixed handling of card selection to be optional.

  • Fixed a bug that winning with alternate win condition (e.g. Biovisionary) did not set game end date. That leads to an null pointer exception in client.

  • Convoke - Fixed that creatures with protection from color of convoke spell could not be tapped for convoke.

  • Fixed can't counter ability that did not work correctly.

  • Fixed a bug that mana source restrictins got lost with mana cost madification (e.g. cast Myr Superion while Etherium Sculptor in play).

  • BattleCry - Fixed that power boost did not last until end of turn.

  • Fixed a bug of each player sacrifice a creature/permanent effect, that permanent with shroud could not be sacrificed - locking the game (Barter in Blood, Akki Blizzard-Herder, Crack the Earth, Renounce the Guilds, Destructive Force, Smallpox, Death Cloud, Death Pit Offering, Tremble, Innocent Blood, Slum Reaper, Fleshbag Marauder, Ember Swallower, Wildfire, Anowon, the Ruin Sage.

  • Combat - Fixed a bug were forced attackers could be set to not attacking.

  • Proliferate - Fixed a bug that only creatures could be used for the proliferate add counter effect.

  • Bubbling Cauldron - Fixed that the life loss was wrongly implemented as damage.

  • Counterbalance - Fixed that converted mana comparison of spilt cards did not work correctly.

  • Hisako, Minamp Sensai - Fixed that converted mana comparison of spilt cards did not work correctly.

  • Leyline of Anticipation - Fixed that it only worked for creatures instead of all nonland permanents.

  • Omniscience -Fixed that it now works as alternate casting costs (also with split/fused cards).

  • Trickbind and Stifle - Fixed that the spells could wronly also counter spells.

  • Voice of Resurgence - Fixed a bug that the triggered ability did not work if a token copy of Voice of Resurgence died.

  • Wall of Roots - Fixed that Wall could not be used after beeing exiled and returned with Momentary Blink.

Release 2014-08-11

  • Fixed some "enter the battlefield as a copy of " effects (e.g. Phyrexian Metamorph, Quicksilver Gargantuan) that were handled targeted and so protection abilities could prevent that a permanent was selected.

  • Fixed a bug that prevented some continuous effects of permanents to work correctly if the permanents controller changed (e.g. play lands from your library with a controlled Courser of Kruphix).

  • Fixed that looking in the top x cards while playing with the top card revealed shows wrongly the next card in library

  • A potential workaround for the colored mana only gives colorless mana bug (we'll see if it is fixed). So commander format is available again.

  • Availabale attackers have now a blue frame instead of the yellow frame in declare attacker phase.

  • Abrupt Decay - Fixed that could it be countered by Kira, Great Glass-Spinner's ability.

  • Banisher Priest - Fixed a bug that if Banisher Priest was copied by a token, the target creature exiled by the token did not return as the token left the battlefield.

  • Cavern of Souls - Fixed that the "spell can't be countered" effect from the mana did not work when the cavern was no longer on the battlefield while the spell was cast.

  • Encrust - Fixed that to deny the use of abilities did not work.

  • Five-Alarm Fire - Fixed that the ability did not trigger.

  • Genesis Hydra - Fixed that if other Genesis Hydra cards were brought into play with its ability, they got wrongly the same number of +X/+X counters as the origin Genesis Hydra.

  • Hushwing Gryff - Fixed a bug that the effect was wrongly implemented as replacement effect with potential to repalce other replacement effects.

  • Venser, the Sojourner - Fixed target of first ability to only allow to target permanents you own.

  • Steel Hellkite - Fixed that the activated destroy ability of a Steel Hellkite copied with Phantasmal Image did not work.

Release 2014-07-30v2 from 2014-08-03

  • Commander - Fixed that commander with flash wrongly couldn't be cast from command zone using flash.

  • Fixed some minor issues concerning cards searching for permanent cards and bringing them onto the battlefield.

  • ForcastAbility - Fixed that forecast ability wrongly did only work one time from hand for a card.

  • More effects that were handled as replacement effects until now are handled as rule modifying effects.

  • Fixed a bug that equipments and player curses were sometimes positioned wrongly on the battlefield.

  • Deicide - Fixed a bug that subtype was taken from permanent instead from card in exile. So Deicide did not allow to search for other God cards as long as the Theros God was only an enchantment as he was exiled.

  • Genesis Hydra - Fixed that also non permanent cards had to be selected.

  • Glacial Crasher - Fix that can't attack effect being applied to all permanents on the battlefield.

  • Putrid Imp - Fixed duration of gain flying effect.

Enhancements

  • Hybrid mana use is simplified.
  • Table view is now loaded automatically after connecting to server.
  • Table view divider locations are restored correctly now.
  • A lot of rule changing effects that were handled as replacement effects are now handled in another way. The user has no longer to decide the order they resolve.
  • Added icon for triggered and activated abilities on the stack to better distinct it from casting a card.

Bug Fixes

  • Tournament - Fixed a bug that prevented users from quitting a tournament. It also caused some problems with users that were disconnected during tournament.

  • Fixed wrong rarity of about 25 Magic 2015 card.

  • Overload - Fixed that overload abilities of sorceries could be wrongly used with instant speed (Mizzium Mortars, Vandalblast and Teleportal).

  • Burrenton Forge-Tender - Fixed that damage prevention did not work for sources that were stack objects. This was a common problem of TargetSource class.

  • Cone of Flame - Fixed that damage to player was wrongly marked as combat damage and it was not possible to redirect to planeswalker.

  • Cursed Scroll - Fixed target and damage handling.

  • Hallowed Burial - Fixed exception bug of spell effect.

  • Not of This World - Fixed a possible Null Pointer Exception.

  • Rakdos, Lord of Riots - Fixed that game was locked if Rakdos was on hand caused by the new show playable cards feature.

  • Show and Tell - Fixed that it was not optional to bring something onto the battlefield.

  • Spellskite - Fixed that target could wrongly not be changed to spellskite in some cases.

Enhancements

  • Order of cards on hand can be changed using drag and drop on cards.
  • There is now a system that marks cards that can be played or selected with a yellow frame. (Probably not perfect yet, give feedback what's still missing or not working).

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed that spells with target amount distribution did not fizzle if all their targets were illegal at resolution (e.g. Electrolyze).

  • Transmute - Fixed that transmute could be activated wrongy as instant instead of only at sorcery time.

  • Not targeted selections - Fixed a bug where not targeted selections did trigger the target events (e.g. Kira, Great Glass-Spinner counter ability was triggered by taping creatures for convoke ability).

  • Card download - Fixed a bug that prevented to download some cards with blanks in names from MtgImageSource.

  • M15 - Fixed that booster generation did also generate cards that are only included in supplemental products and not in boosters.

  • Fixed a bug that if you concede a game while your turn was controlled by another player (e.g. Mindslaver) the control by the other player was still active in the next game of the match.

  • Fixed not working turn end effect (used by Time Stop and Sundial of the Infinite)

  • Discard - Fixed that discard cost are valid if Rest in Peace is in play.

  • Ajani Steadfast - Fix second ability affecting planeswalkers under the opponents control.

  • Amphin Pathmage - Fix effect being CantBlockTargetEffect instead of CantBeBlockedTargetEffect.

  • Astral Slide - Fixed that the exiled creature did not return at next end step.

  • Athreos, God of Passage - Fixed that the triggered ability did not work.

  • Back to Basics - Fixed that the skip effect was applied to all non basic permanents instead of only non basic lands.

  • Belligerent Sliver - Fixed that other slivers got the ability as own ability.

  • Brood Sliver - Fixed triggered ability (was gained to slivers instead being an ability from Brood Sliver.

  • Cephalid Coliseum - Fixed wrong Threshold cost.

  • Chain of Vapor - Fixed that wrong player was asked for target change of copied spell.

  • Counterbalance - Fixed that it did not taking X value into account for calculating converted mana costs.

  • Deftblade Elite - Fixed wrong activation cost.

  • Descent into Madness - Fixed handling according the existing rules.

  • Earnest Fellowship - Fix protection working wrong for multicolored creatures.

  • Goblin Kaboomist - Fixed that the tokens activated ability did not work properly.

  • Sets -Added Vintage Masters and Conspiracy set. Not all cards are implemented yet!
  • Deck editor - The deck and sideboard area can now be scrolled down or to the right making all cards visible.
  • Handling of games that are a draw was fixed.
  • Client Windows - Name of game in windows sub menu is now build with player names.
  • Alternative casting costs - Added a check if costs can't be paid to don't ask player for usagage
  • Order of sets for filtering in deck editor was changes.

  • Phyrexian Unlife - Fixed that damage from a combat damage step was not handled as if all damage was dealt at once. This could cause a wrong mix of damage and poison conters.

  • Rapid Hybridization -Fixed the missing "can't regnerate" option.

  • Signal Pest - Fixed that Signal Pests restriction effect did not work always if more than one Signal Pest was in the game.

  • Sword of Light and Shadow - Fixed that the gain life effect did not rigger if no creature was in the equipped creature controllers graveyard.

  • Tidebinder Mage - Fixed that his ability prevented untapping of the targeted creature also if it's not the turn of the controller of the targeted creature.

  • Umezawa's Jitte - Fixed that combat damage triggered ability triggered wrongly multiple times, if damage of equipped create was dealt to different creatures.

  • Wickerbough Elder - Fixed first ability that has to be a replacement instead of a triggered effect.

  • Fixed a incompatibility between client and server that let the game hang if certain cards were played (e.g. Thoughtseize).

  • Ichorid - Fixed that the effect could not be canceled if other black creature was in the graveyard.

  • Kodama's Reach, Cultivate - Fixed possible NPE (null pointer exception) error.

  • Sporoloth Ancient - Fixed that the ability was wrongly gained to all controlled permanents instead of only controlled creatures.

Bugs that were caused by the general change of target handling:

  • Fixed bug of Whims of the Fates, Liliana of the Veil, Fact or Fiction, Sphinx of Uthuun, Jace, Architect of Thought, Brilliant Ultimatum and Steam Augury that the player had to move all cards into one pile because the selection for the first pile could not be stopped until all cards are selected.
  • Commander - Fixed commander mulligan select card to exile can't stop bug.
  • Scroll Rack - Fixed Cancel select cards did not work.
  • Vendilion Clique - Allow to select no card so target player does not discard nor draw a card.

General fixes:

  • Hideaway - Fixed a bug that the last returned card was put to the top instead of the bottom of the library.
  • Commander - Fixed that commander could not be cast from command zone by using flash.

Fixes for cards:

  • Hellkite Hatchling - Fixed wrong P/T of 4/4 to 2/2.
  • Kuldotha Flamefiend - Fixed that sacrificing artifact did not work correctly.
  • Mana Bloom - Fixed a bug that returning it to hand did not work correctly.
  • Paleoloth - Fixed that it did also trigger for creatures entering the battlefield that were not controlled.
  • Pharika, God of Affliction - Added missing exile target card in graveyard effect.
  • Spellskite - Fixed that target was wrongly also changed to Spellskite if Spellskite is no valid target for the origin spell (e.g. used for Ranger's Guile of opponent player).
  • Stoneforge Mystic - Fixed that for the second effect the artifact had wrongly be selected already during activation instead of resolution.

  • Living Weapon - Fixed effect handling so that the Germ token no longer dies before the equipment from living weapon is attached.

  • Tribal - Fixed that Tribal was implemented as super type instead correctly as card type.

  • Battlefield layout - Position of enchanted land is fixed again.

  • Ajani, Mentor of Heroes - Fixed a bug that with his second ability only creatures could be targeted.

  • Batterskull - Fixed that last ability brought back Batterskull to hand only if it's still on the battlefield during the resolution of the effect.

  • Congregation at Dawn - Fixed a bug that the game is locked while resolution of the put cards back effect.

  • Elephant Grass - Fixed bug that the attacker was wrongly forced to pay cost also if he attacked a planeswalker.

  • Ghostly Prison - Fixed bug that the attacker was wrongly forced to pay cost also if he attacked a planeswalker.

  • Goblin Arsonist - Fixed that target was wrongly selected during resolution.

  • Ground Seal - Fixed a problem, that cards that need to target cards in graveyard caused a game lock, if Ground Seal was on the battlefield.

  • Hellrider - Fixed that the triggered damage is dealt to defending player also if a planeswalker was attacked.

  • Hive Mind - Fixed that always got players other than controller got the copies instead correctly players other than controller of the casted spell.

  • Lightning Greaves - Fixed that equiped creature did not get shroud ability.

  • Mage Slayer - Fixed that the triggered damage is dealt to defending player also if a planeswalker was attacked.

  • Myr Battlesphere - Fixed that the triggered damage is dealt to defending player also if a planeswalker was attacked.

  • Propaganda - Fixed bug that the attacker was wrongly forced to pay cost also if he attacked a planeswalker.

  • Raid Bombardment - Fixed that the triggered damage is dealt to defending player also if a planeswalker was attacked.

  • Reanimate - Fixed a problem that abilities of cards brought to battlefield from opponents graveyards did act as if controller would be the owner of the card.

  • Skullsnatcher - Fixed a bug that only one card could be exiled (was located in ExileTargetEffect only supporting one target, so other cards could be affected as well).

  • P/T defining static abilities - Fixed for the still not fixed cards (e.g. Traproot Kamit) hat the P/T is also set for the card if it's not a permanent.
  • Filter Lands - Fixed 6 filter lands (e.g. Flooded Grove ) that used always only colorless mana if possible when used during spell casting. Now the ability chooser is shown to select the desired mana combination ability.
  • Fixed that if a creature get attached to an object (e.g. because equipment becomes a creature), it gets unattached.
  • Fixed a bug that effects where applied to early and often (e.g. dying creature during combat damage step raised Nighthowler's toughness, so he survived lethal damage).

  • Tournament handling - Fixed player handling for swiss tournament. No more quit sound or wrong state if player already finished the tournament correctly.
  • Theros block format - Fixed wrong set code for Journey into Nyx.
  • Client - fixed wrong borders on some of the client menu bar items at the top of the window.

Cards fixed

  • Arrow Volley Trap - Fixed missing word in tooltip text.
  • Bloodcrazed Hoplite - Fixed his second ability that did not work.

  • Fixed the "can only block flying creatures effect" (e.g. Vaporkin ). It was implemented as replacement effect instead of restriction effect which leads to dead locks in combat if it was forced to block a non flyer.

  • Fixed that modes of modal spells resolved also if all targeted modes of a spell had no more legal targets and there were targeted modes (e.g. Cryptic Command). Should also fix same problem for parts of a fused spell.

  • Triggered abilities are now posted to the game log with target information and by the time they go to the stack instead of the time they resolve. So targets in graveyard can be read in the log if not recognizable by graphical targets(e.g. Snapcaster Mage ).

Enhancements

  • Added the new expansion "Born of the Gods" to the list of sets.
  • Added the cards of BNG 162/165. Three cards are not implemented yet.
  • Limited Tournaments - Cube format was added (3 prefefined cubes are added). It's not yet possible to use a deck as cube, if you start the tournament, you can only use the cubes installed on the server.
  • Added a swiss like format to tournaments, so players are not eliminated after they loss a match. They play against other opponents with about equivalent amount of points.
  • Draft - Card images of the dards to select from are displayed now with variable size.
  • Main player lobby - Has a new column to show a short note that the user can set.
  • Chat - Added commands to set the user not and to whisper to other users.
  • Chat - Some color changes.
  • Deckeditor - Moving cards from one zone to another doesn't change the sorting anymore. The sorting is saved to but there are still some minor issued about restoring the saved sort order (fixed in next update).
