Installing BaseKB
To make queries, you'll need to install :BaseKB. This means loading :BaseKB into an RDF database that supports SPARQL 1.1.
:BaseKB has been tested with the open-source edition of OpenLink Virtuoso and the tests should work out of the box if you run Virtuoso on localhost with the default settings.
Hints for loading :BaseKB into Virtuoso can be found here.
basekb-tools expect that you load :BaseKB into the following named graph: http://rdf.basekb.com/public/baseKB.
In principle, basekb-tools is simple to configure for any triple store that supports a SPARQL protocol endpoint.
basekb-tools users should use the basekb-tests module to confirm that their stack works correctly. We're working with users and vendors to make :BaseKB work with a wide range of tools; create a ticket if you find a compatibility problem with your triple store.
