I have a friend who usually dislikes chiptune music, but he loved this game so much he listened to the music in the game even when he was watching it on TV. A nice touch is that you can also play the game in the FMode which also plays nice when you're bored. Definitely worth the money spent.

<|startoftext|>I hate these games. Every game has a different gimmick and one of them is probably going to be the de-facto "breakout game" of the generation. VVVVVV is probably the most obvious. But there's also a few others that you probably wouldn't put your name on a list with games like this. There's also a couple that I'm fairly sure were created by Terry Cavanagh (Captain Vermillion) in a fit of rage because they were too difficult. I'd be lying if I said I didn't notice the similarity to Mega Man series. But the games aren't necessarily grating. VVVVVV is surprisingly light on uniqe (for a platformer), and has a great sound track. I'd recommend it to anyone. VVVVVV is a platformy 2-D shooter with a twist. Instead of jumping, you switch gravity with your own gravity. This adds an extra dimension to games that usually focus on linearity. It also gives the game a nice amount of replayability. I will admit I died probably 100 times trying to collect 20% of the trinkets, but that's ok. I think a lot of games I've played I've hated and enjoyed less than VVVVVVVV. I love it.

The gameplay is just amazing. And the soundtrack is the best I've heard in a while. Definitely worth the price.

The game is short but sweet (in my opinion) and worth the price (even if it's only 5 bucks).
