The Force is a really powerful satellite weapon which is created from a violent artificial life form. With the control rods attached around an orange sphere consisting of Bydo life essence, it is possible to control it as a weapon.

They are one of the important main weapons used from the R-Type spacecrafts. They offer different enhancements and defensive capabilities added to a generic spacecraft which can control them.

In this mod, the Force can be deployed through the means of an accessory which spawns it. The Forces have unique upgrades based from the canon technology tree.

Behavior

By equipping the Bydo Embryo, the Force will spawn from outside the host's screen on the side behind them. It will automatically be in their Detached state and move automatically based on their Force's A.I. movement. When the host comes in contact with the Force, the Force will enter Attached state.

While attached, the Force will link itself to the host positioned just left or right from them depending on which side the Force was touched.

The host may press the Force Action Toggle to detach the Force, launching it forward towards the direction the Force faces, and then having it enter Detached state.

Each type of Force may have unique differences in their Detached state behaviors. The only similarity among them is being able to move independently on its own.

While in Detached state, the host may press the Force Action Toggle to pull the Force slowly towards them, being able to phase through blocks during the process.

Other than that, each type of Force may display a different attack and movement patterns.

The Force is indestructible from all attacks and cannot be destroyed. Any hostile projectile that comes in contact with it is destroyed. Upon contact with a hostile entity, that said entity will suffer a severe amount of damage.

Once the Force or the host inflicts damage to any hostile, the Force will fire Light Bullets from itself. The attack pattern depends on the type of Force and their states. The damage of the Force and the Light Bullets is based on the owner's held weapon multiplied by a certain amount, also depending on the Force.

Additionally, the Force provides a stat boost on its host depending on its type.

Force Types

The Force became a popular need to use as a weapon against evil threats, and thus research was extended. From the Standard Force, there came more improvements. Utilizing different kinds of control rods and pods, other types of Force were born, some starting their own branch of the technology tree.

Different Force types offer different patterns on behavior and usability that are unique. It is up to the host whether which fits their needs. Below is a list of available and accessible Force Types the host may upgrade to.

  • Standard Force - The very first Bydo-controllable weapon to be utilized.
  • Needle Force - An offensive variant of the Standard Force, offering higher damage output and new attack patterns.
