Spread Option
The Spread Option inherits all characteristics of the standard Option. It is a direct upgrade from the Regular Option. They are white in color and have a special ability.
There are a few caveats when using the special ability of the Spread Options. For balance purposes, only every 4th projectile produced will be duplicated. The projectiles produced when performing the special ability will also only have a short life span.
The Spread Options are separated into a total of 4 accessories. One may combine them to a total of just 2 as they progress through the game so they take up fewer accessory slots.

During development of the Spread Option, this Option type was originally called the 8-Way Option. The concept of the 8-Way Option came from a game called Nemesis Online, a fan-made game by Kotai. The game contained an 8-Way Beam upgrade, which allows the player to be able to shoot beams from all cardinal directions.
