IHM Meeting Summary Apr 5, 2018

Attended by Ben Webb, Tom Goddard, Mikael Trellet and Brinda Vallat

  1. Preliminary version of Pom152 is available. It is still missing 2DEM data, localization densities, one of the comparative starting models and the DCD ensembles.

  2. MT explored the python-ihm package and requested new features that are now described in issues 8 and 9.

  3. ChimeraX (and perhaps other software) assumes that _entity_poly_seq.num and _atom_site.auth_seq_id are the same, although that assumption does not always hold true.

  4. The current set of definitions for geometric object restraints assumes a symmetric half-torus about the z-axis, which may not always be the case. We will revisit this in future if we get an example where this is not true.

  5. The next meeting will be on Thursday, April 12th 2018, at 12:00 PM Eastern time.
