IHM Meeting Summary May 17 2018
Attended by Ben Webb and Brinda Vallat
-
Spindle pole body, Nup82 and updated NPC structures (with distance restraints to geometric objects) are under progress.
-
IMP now uses the python-ihm package.
-
We have the first example of an I/H model that uses a Rosetta fragment-assembly based starting model. A specific category can be created to describe the use of multiple templates, alignment file and modeling script file. On the other hand, we can consider renaming the
ihm_starting_comparative_model
category to something more generic (that can also handle fragment-assembly based models) and add a data item that provides a reference to the modeling script file. -
Other potential structures include FRET-based model (we are working on a FRET-dictionary) and 3D genome structures (may require extending some of the defintions).
-
We have received several depositions on PDB-Dev in the past few weeks. BV will triage and find a way to process them.
-
Next week's meeting is a "large" group IHM meeting. The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, May 24th at 7:00 AM PDT / 9:00 AM CDT / 10:00 AM EDT / 3:00 PM BST / 4:00 PM CEST / 11:00 PM JST. The connection details and meeting agenda will be sent by email.
