Yesterday: Worked closely with Josh on the workstation. SD staging inside Qubes so that SD engineers could use Qubes to do mainline SD development. Went very well. Long story short, have a pretty well packaged staging env that requires some manual setup.

Today: Prioritizing Xenial upgrade testing work. Switching from mon to app workflows.

• Mickael: High level flow for merging kernel strings. If we merge the PR for the kernel update -- will CI fail?
• Conor: We just started managing this inside the SD repo. Staging VMs would break because they'd be pinning a dependency they'd be calling out to the apt server.
• Would merge right after code freeze. Will have to update staging VMs to use apt-test.
