NFT, Crypto & Blockchain

On IGDB, we do allow NFT, Crypto, and Blockchain games, but only on a case-by-case basis. Please ensure the following before submitting to our database if your game utilizes NFTs or Crypto currency:

1. Always include a link to an official homepage.
2. Include a video of gameplay, either on the game page you create/edit or in our comments channel. If we are not able to confirm gameplay, your entry will be discarded. Your game must include a significant amount of gameplay and be categorized as a game.
3. Include some form of visuals, such as a cover (boxart) and screenshots. Don't forget that a cover must have the logo of the title on it.
4. Your game must include a significant amount of gameplay and be categorized as a game. We do not allow social platforms, hubs, marketplaces, software, or tools.
5. Make sure that any gameplay videos you add only contain gameplay footage. We do not allow videos of streamer discussions, investor calls, early development, or developers simply discussing the game without showcasing any media. 
6. Do not add an unofficial age rating. If the game hasn't been officially reviewed and rated by a specific organization, it's not official. Even if you as a development team set your own age rating, that would still count as unofficial.
7. Every game in this genre must include keywords such as "nft", "blockchain", "metaverse" and/or "crypto" when applicable.
8. Your contribution must include an exact release date and platform.

Please keep in mind that if your game is in pre-alpha or alpha and we deem it to be too early in development, we reserve the right to reject your contribution.
