Jeff Newman checking on potential larch test differences by OS that are holding up the release
Greg shared vehicle type model design update and options
- 1. Model body type X fuel type, then sample vehicle age
- 1. Model body type X age, then sample fuel type
- 1. Model body type X fuel type X age
- 1. builds off #3 but uses age in 1 year increments
Option 4 recommended but some concern about having to adjust lots of constants for scenario analysis
Tradeoff between tighter base year match versus flexibility for future year analysis
Simpler approach is option 1 or 2
All four options have been estimated but need some refinement/testing
Could add more attributes on vehicle characteristics (like MPG)
Check to make sure works with EMFAC too; not just MOVES
