Danger Signs:

Everyone seems to want to help you or hurt you. Sometimes the one's who want to help, end up hurting you, and sometimes the ones who seem hurtful are exactly the ones who can help you. The Jedi learns to read this sublanguage so as to know good from bad.

• Subterfuge: Someone is trying to mislead you -- to trip you up on your own personal dreams and goals. How to spot it from different races/dominions.
• Sabotage: Someone's strying to hurt you physically -- to take your power. When the universe is telling you something's wrong.
• Illness: To make yourself well, you must be one with the Force and have sufficient knowledge.
• Being surprised: something has shifted in the collective consciousness, the universe is trying to tell you something. Less commonly someone is holding power over you. If you are an apprentice, your master, for example, is over you.

One might say that one's apprenticeship is complete when the master can no longer surprise you. You have assimilated all of the knowledge and become a master of it. This is true for any teacher.

Secondary students:

• Face whatever intimidates you: Engage those who you feel intimidated with or by. Perhaps ask them a question about the things they like or
• Expose what is hidden: Call out the behavior that you see: "Do you want to hurt me?"
• Negotiate the balance: You don't know if you are in the superior position or not, but ultimately everyone is equal, so fin where you can be seperate in peace.
• Protect with force when necessary: If a fist comes at you, you have to use force back -- words won't stop violence that is in the midst of landing. The "bomb is dropped" so to speak. When you become a Jedi, you carry a weapon that does not have any component that you haven't mastered.
