The Perfect Groove
Trance theory DR4FT
Here we will be discussion the essence of groove and dance. How sound becomes a vehicle for emotional union and perception for the holistic gestalt (the Perfect Move). A union between the composer and listerner or between the dj and the crowd. With trance, we will be working with the crowd.
To have a groove, you need a union. A union means that you’ve married two opposites together. Most of the time, that means love, but in some cases (like the Divine), it can happen through wisdom (tribal wisdom, for example where there is a union with the Earth). You can get one by connecting to the pre-existing grooves (loves) that are part of your cultural history or you can go out make one by doing something no one’s done before. This is the beginning of art. But art can go up or down; that is, it can elevate the receiver or it can bring them down for understanding an empathy in order to share it and make it a collective experience. By making a negative emotion collective, there’s a chance that someone will connect and elevate it, making something new.
To transfer meaning acoustically, requires ordered sound. This can be a voice conversation, through the regularity language and its shared, cultural history or it can be music, a combination of rhythm, waves, melody, chords, and lyrics. Here, I’ll be talking about the latter: music.
Music is a series of notes made to a beat. A note is coposed of waves, like a Frouier series can express any arbitrary complex sound. A rhythm is composed of beat. When these waves line up in synchronicity, they create a chord. The dj master modulates these creates a conversation with these waves in modulation to create a groove. If we say a note is like a word in a sentence, If a chord is like a phrase in a sentence. A groove is like a paragraph, giving meaning. A lessor, less challenging way, is through drugs. The tension of the event can be tapped to force these rythmic grooves and chords into coherence and syncronicity.
The power of the following information — taking this theory all of the way to its end point — is that you can create an enlightened planet through music alone. But first, you have to master the basics.
For every moment in our spacetime there is the one perfect Groove that expresses the collective heart (both it’s present state and where it wants to go). The perfect groove holds the heart in a standing wave that then connects and is shard with the crowd. This is the essence the Atlantean energy and technology: moving with sound.
But the quesiton then becomes: who influences who? Does the dancer effect the dj who affects the music and effects the dancer or the other way around? Both. The sounds propagates to the dancer and the dancer’s movements travel to the dj, creating a virtuous cycle. It begins as soon as you start (unless they’ve somehow started ahead of the music). One must tune in with the eyes as well as the body-mind and see who is helping you hold the space. It may be someone of the oppostie gender or someone outside the gender-boundary holding the spacde with you, but it is usually someone or group of opposte forms — becaus eyou’re supposedly holding your own.
To spin the groove for the planet would take many years to get everyone in sync. The music would be far too complex to do it in one setting. However consider a subtle rhythm, in harmoney with Earth, that slowly everyone acclimates into.
the Vibe is the Gestalt — the whole where the individual consciousness and agendas are void for the moment, allowing something else (you the dj) to slip in. The Vibe is composed of the Waves.
The kinesthesiology of the dance is a vibration coming up from the soles of the feet and rocking the arms and hands and engaging the head — the hardest of all to get in sync for the dj master.
Axiom #1: For every and any negative vibe, there is always a groove that cuts through it and transforms it into a greater Vibe. Remember that. (Note: That leaves a lot of options for the aspiring goddess.) Axiom #2: The path towards ecstasy happens through waves. Rythymic sophistication lifting up the love waves tto entrain your mind. Just like the sexual union, it is the regularity that deattenuates the mind to ride the waves into the Ecstasy.
For every groove, there is the Perfect Move that expresses the purity of the groove without trampling upon it, nor corrupting it with one’s own personal psychology. If everyone where to synchronize with this one, pure move, held with the union, the whole dance floor, through resonance, would share move as one. Just like there is one perfect sentence that expresses the semantics, meaning, and feeling for what a person is trying to say.
For much music that Perfect Move is long gone, trapped in the decade of the music that made it, like the 1960’s rock and roll. But somewhere, if the someone that made that One Move is still alive, they could resurrect it by pull others into that headspacd. This “headspace” is called the Assemblage Point by Carlos Casteneda.
The Perfect Move is actually the result of being outside the sphere of everyone’s personal judgement, but completely inside — complete embodying to the ends of your extremeties — the love and energy that is being expressed within the music. Once you arrive there to that special space, you can start gathering their lines of attention to bring them into your intent: to express the Perfect Move.
ing in the lines of intent that are being scattered by those who are not in the Perfect Move, re channel them into your body through touch to the umbilical region (Divine Mother) and get everyone connected to the Perfect Move.
In the case of a gay night club or extreme hetero club (where one might encounter the female on all fours gestticulating upwards towards the male or a male grinding against the buttocks of the fmeale), both are atttempting the union, they want the union, but it fails — even if it leads to sexual intercouse. It’s the night of your rave. How are you going to stack the energy, so that you can _?
Rythym (grooves):
- The longest wave is set by the day/night/celestial cycles. Go into the night alone and listen. tune into the collective vibe happening in the world. It is pain and pleasure, dark and light, happy and sad, anger and rejoicing.
- Then the next wave is who is entering the door. What is their mask? Their walk? The former informs the high frequencies and the latter the low.
- The next is how they audience is interacting with themselves (not you, except as an audience member yourself). Are they talking to each other? Standing waiting for the music? By now, you should be at the mid-range of the acoustic landscape…
- Synths set good long wave tones (middle finger)
- Drums are connected to the heart beat(s) (ring finger)
- Cymbals are conected to the nervous system (pinky finger)
- Guitars to the hands and the need to do something (index finger) — watch for the strike of the steel string that captures the attention of the soft-mind.
- The thumb is the dj, spinning and weaving it together to be like a tapestry waving over the crowd.
- But there are two thumbs, the other one’s the bass.
- Soft, low-volume tones are for entraining the audience into a beat or groove.
- The thigns to watch out for and avoid is volume intensity arising too early and breaking the magic bubble of the Vibe.
- Eyes vs. ears vs. body vs. mechanics of the floor (Feet)
One complexity that nees to be mentioned is the two primary orders of the universe: yin/yang and male/female. Most people will probably be het spiens, but you might see others who respond in a completely different way that throws you off as a dj. They are probably gay or native american — these two do not VIBE like the hets. So what does the dj do? Not sure, but you can alternative based on the proportion of difference or you can integrate into the music, but you’ll probably end up something mediocre. Can it be done? We don’t know yet. Most djs get 2 chakas in extastic dance at once, and this is enough to get both types, but should challenge yourself.
